Welder** **Job Description** We are a manufacturer specializing in cement mixing trucks and cement pumping trucks/trailers. We seek skilled welders to perform MIG welding on hard steel materials, primarily using Pulse style Hardwire .045 welding techniques. The welding tasks involve ultra-sonic welding on heavy materials ranging from 3/8" to 4" thick, requiring precise and skilled welds. The role involves welding in a heat treat environment, setting up, laying out fixtures, and fitting components. Successful candidates will eventually be certified and trained to weld all components of concrete boom trucks, with all welding being X-Rayed and certified. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on hard steel materials using Pulse style Hardwire .045 techniques. + Execute ultra-sonic welding on heavy materials, ensuring high-quality skilled welds. + Conduct setups, layouts of fixtures, and fit-ups independently. + Participate in certification training to weld all components of concrete boom trucks. + Ensure all welding is X-Rayed and certified to meet high-quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years experience in MIG welding on heavy gauge materials. + Proficiency in Hardwire .045 Pulse style MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, with at least 1 year of experience. + Strong communication skills. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in pulse, structural steel welding. + Familiarity with fabrication, grinding, and TIG welding. + Competency in using structural steel and blueprints. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy quarterly bonuses based on company profit and hours worked, as well as a $2000 sign-on bonus upon permanent hire. Typical working hours are 6am-2:30pm from Monday to Friday, with heavy overtime options available, extending from 5am-3:30pm. An alternative shift runs from 2:30pm-1:00am, Monday to Thursday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
