Maintenance Mechanic Job Description As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for receiving and completing preventive maintenance (PM) sheets each day, ensuring that maintenance tasks are documented before leaving. You will be involved in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair on production machinery and perform thorough checks and preventative maintenance on machines. Collaboration with other mechanics to troubleshoot and repair patty-forming machines is essential. Responsibilities Receive and complete PM sheets daily, documenting maintenance tasks prior to leaving. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery. Conduct thorough checks on machines and perform preventative maintenance. Collaborate with other mechanics to troubleshoot and repair patty-forming machines. Essential Skills Proficiency in maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, motors, and hydraulics. Strong electrical and mechanical skills. 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical malfunctions. 2+ years of welding experience (any kind). 2+ years of experience using hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Flexibility with schedule and willingness to work long hours. Ability to work in a unionized environment. Why Work Here?
