Commercial Plumber - Start ASAP Job Description We are seeking skilled plumbers who are well-versed in underground, new construction work, and fixtures. The role involves working with cast iron pipe, no hub, and installing a drain waste and vent system. You must be able to cut and thread pipe, as well as read blueprints and specifications. Plumbers should be proficient in rough-insabove ground and undergroundand finish or trim out phases, which include adding hardware such as toilets and sinks. Responsibilities Work on new construction and renovation projects in large commercial settings. Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes. Perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, threading, or bending pipe to required angles using pipe cutters, hand or power tools, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines. Install fixtures, hangers, and pipe, and work on domestic water and sanitary systems. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Operate with proficiency in rough-ins and finish phases of construction. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience. Proficiency in plumbing, mechanical, and piping installations. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with materials such as PVC, Copper, PEX, CPVC, and cast iron. Skill in brazing and soldering. Capability to handle basic hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with large commercial construction, specifically in domestic water and sanitary systems. Ability to work with a variety of plumbing materials and understand plumbing codes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
