This is a hands-on, on-siterole offering a 6-month contract with a potential for extension or full-timeconversion. The ideal candidate will bring both electrical engineeringexpertise and direct experience working within a power plant environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide electrical engineering support for plant operations, includingsystem reliability improvements and root cause failure analysis.Evaluate the condition and reliability of electrical systems and components,including motors, transformers, pumps, and control systems.Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to plan and implementpreventive and corrective maintenance strategies.Support capital project submissions and long-term equipment upgrade planning.Contribute to performance monitoring and system optimization projects acrossvarious plant units.Sample Projects May Include:Reviewing spare parts strategies and failure risks for critical systems likegenerator diodes and CEMS analyzers.Assessing and optimizing reliability of ammonia and phosphate feed systems.Supporting outage planning through evaluation of components such as bearingoil systems and solenoid valves.Performing transformer, breaker, and relay testing, reviewing plantdrawings, and contributing to electrical system design updates.Evaluating electrical load additions and updating plant substation alarms andvoltage settings.QualificationsRequired: Electrical engineering experience in a power plant setting - thisis essential and non-negotiable.Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced,on-site environment.Able to support both short-term troubleshooting and long-term systemreliability initiatives.Open to candidates with varying levels of experience who meet the power plantrequirement.Dexian / Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC (DISYS)is an EqualOpportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates withoutregard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity,age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions withover 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
