Fabricator Job Description As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing Pulse MIG welding to fabricate various custom equipment, including dryers, coolers, feeders, conveyors, shakeouts, screeners, spiral elevators, and heat exchangers. This role involves fitting and fabrication, requiring you to complete work orders from scratch. You will work extensively with blueprints and work orders, utilizing math to ensure accurate measurements. Responsibilities Perform Pulse MIG welding to fabricate custom equipment. Complete work orders from scratch, involving fitting and fabrication. Work extensively with blueprints to form and weld metal. Utilize mathematical skills to ensure accurate measurements. Essential Skills Experience in MIG or Flux core welding. Ability to read and work from blueprints. One year of fabrication experience in categories like MIG, GMAW, or FCAW. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in pulse welding and fitting and fabrication. Knowledge of weld and welding symbols. One year of experience reading blueprints and work orders. Work Environment Join a clean and organized fabrication shop with openings on both day and night shifts. Day shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, and Friday 6am-2:30pm. Night shift hours are Sunday through Wednesday, 6pm-4:30am, and Thursday 6pm-2:30am. The facility offers a canteen, gym, locker rooms, and showers for employee convenience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
