Project Cost Accountant

Project Cost Manager We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Cost Controller to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing cost control and estimating functions across various projects, including both greenfield and brownfield developments. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate budgeting, effective change management, and timely project funding through comprehensive cost analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow. Develop and maintain cost control systems and reports. Analyze cost estimates and provide regular updates throughout the project lifecycle. Track and report on budget changes, committed costs, and payment certifications. Collaborate with project teams to assess financial impacts of design or scope changes. Review and recommend contract variations and claims. Ensure compliance with company policies, including safety protocols. Prepare visual dashboards and reports comparing planned vs. actual expenditures. Qualifications: Proven experience in cost control or project controls within construction or engineering projects. Strong analytical and financial skills. Proficiency in cost management software and reporting tools. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
