Contract Administrator III
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay Range: $88K-$99K
Responsibilities
Contract Management: Oversee and administer multiple professional service contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual terms and applicable ordinances.
Task Order Processing: Create and manage various task orders, including labor, scope-based, and closeout orders, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
Budget Monitoring: Track task order expenditures, anticipate budget adjustments, and resolve funding issues in collaboration with internal teams.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive logs of contract performance, prepare reports, meeting agendas, and minutes, and ensure all documentation is accurately stored and accessible.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with various internal departments, including executive offices, project teams, IT staff, and budget teams, to facilitate smooth contract administration.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all contracts adhere to relevant policies and procedures, including inclusivity and legal compliance.
Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes or issues between firms and the organization, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Security Badge Processing: Coordinate and process security badge request packages, ensuring compliance with protocols.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in commercial or government contract administration, with a focus on complex, multi-million-dollar construction projects.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction programs, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels.
Project Delivery Methods: Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods such as Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) is preferred.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically required.
Licenses: Valid Driver's License and compliance with vehicle use policies.
