Welder - Pressure Vessels & Piping Lockport, NY 1st shift $28-33+/hr Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Code Welder with a strong expertise in pressure vessel and piping fabrication. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple welding processes and capable of interpreting technical documents to meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG, TIG, Pulse, and Flux Core welding applications Weld components in accordance with ASME or AWS codes Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques for various metals Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical specifications Conduct first article and random inspections using proper inspection techniques Work primarily with carbon steel (85%) and stainless steel (15%) Required Skills: Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding Skilled in pipe welding and fitting Experience with pressure vessel fabrication Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical documents Competent in using measuring tools and bench tools Strong understanding of fabrication processes and inspection standards Top Skills: Fitting Pressure vessel welding Carbon steel and stainless steel welding MIG and TIG welding Pipe welding Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in welding, piping, and pressure vessel work Comfortable working in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
