Job Requirements: To besuccessful in this role, you must have a Bachelor\'s degree inConstruction Engineering or Construction Management and at least aminimum 10-years in solid project management with contract values from\$10-\$100 million. You should also be familiar with estimatingtechniques, cost control, and material pricing. Proven ability to managemultiple project types and complexities is crucial. Effectivecommunication with superintendents, subcontractors, and owner/clients isnecessary. Additionally, a minimum of six months of experience in bothestimating/preconstruction and fieldwork is required. Some things youcan expect to do: Develop contacts and quickly builds relationships withpotential customers. Effectively negotiates business and legalprovisions of construction contracts. Consistently achieves high levelsof quality, design and profitability on projects assigned to the team.Assure the team\'s accounts receivables are managed effectively andcollected promptly. Assure the team\'s warranty issues are resolvedpromptly and effectively. Assure that general team administrativeresponsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately. Participate orlead owner/client presentations and negotiations. Oversee designdevelopment, budget preparation and development of project schedules.Supervise team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, ProjectManagers I & II, and Project Assistants, as required, depending onassigned project(s). Play a key role in developing procurement strategyincluding preparing bid documents, negotiating and awardingsubcontracts. Builds trusting and productive relationships.
