DIESEL MECHANIC Description: A top-tier construction and equipment company is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to join their team in Gretna, Nebraska! Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including side dumps, tandem axle dumps, and heavy equipment. Diagnose engine and system issues using a diesel laptop. Overhaul and repair small engines, rock crushing engines, and construction equipment. Complete all maintenance tasks efficiently and to high standards. Occasionally perform field repairs when equipment cannot be moved. Essential Skills: 6+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic. Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Proficiency in automotive and heavy equipment mechanics. Familiarity with cranes, excavators, loaders, and skid steers. Welding and fabrication skills. Ability to operate machinery and handle materials safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency with diesel diagnostic laptops. Class A CDL preferred.
