Electrician's Needed in Portland, TN $25-30/hr Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician or Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings. As a Commercial Electrician or Electrical Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems, in industrial and commercial environments. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs. Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. Use hand and power tools to perform tasks. Essential Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and code requirements. Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with conduit bending and pulling wire. Familiarity with industrial and commercial construction projects. Why Work Here?
