Pump, Motor and Fan Supervisor Role in Bronx,NY,US

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pump, Motor, and Fan Supervisor to join our service team. This individual will be responsible for visiting job sites to assess, estimate, and supervise the repair and replacement of a wide range of mechanical systems including pumps, motors, and fans. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, strong supervisory experience, and the ability to interface effectively with both clients and in-house tradespeople. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site visits to diagnose issues with mechanical systems and determine scope of work. Research and specify required materials and equipment for proposed repairs or replacements. Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive time-and-material estimates for customer approval. Supervise awarded jobs, coordinating closely with field mechanics and electricians to ensure proper execution. Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal team members throughout each project. Support and train team members as needed, sharing technical knowledge and supervisory guidance. Required Qualifications: Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience as a pump, motor, and fan technician. At least 5 years in a supervisory role overseeing field service or installation projects. Strong working knowledge of electrical systems related to motor controls, starters, and disconnects. Proven ability to work alongside licensed electricians and understand electrical schematics. Familiarity with a variety of pump systems including: Domestic water booster pumps Sewage ejector pumps Rooftop ventilation fans Vacuum pumps Condensate pumps Circulator pumps Experience with motors ranging from fractional horsepower up to 50 HP . Strong knowledge of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
