Superintendent - Night Shift

Superintendent -Night Shift Job Details Responsibilities Oversee and manage night shift operations while ensuring site safety. Directly supervise union tradespeople, equipment, and subcontractors on-site. Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, public, and project personnel. Lead project planning, including schedules, equipment needs, trade assignments, lift plans, and safety plans. Foster an effective Safety culture on site. Ensure critical project information is accurately communicated to day shift teams. Adhere to labor and production schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Review and interpret project plans and specifications for quality control and compliance. Develop and submit one-week and three-week look-ahead schedules, using the baseline CPM schedule. Comply with documentation requirements of the company and client. Complete daily reports, documenting workforce hours, equipment usage, completed work, and other key activities. Ensure all work meets QA/QC specifications and is completed to the highest standards. Regularly assist in reforecast of remaining work and schedule. Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on heavy civil, utility, or highway and bridge projects valued at $5M - $100M. Four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience) preferred. Extensive knowledge of heavy civil construction means and methods. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordination with teams, clients, and the public. Track record of positive safety record and evidence of prioritizing Safety on past projects. Experience in Traffic coordination, Bridge, Accelerated Bridge, DOT, Railroad, Utility, or Water Facility projects. Project history submission required with resume.
