Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of land data to support engineering projects.
  • Perform calculations and prepare detailed reports based on survey findings.
  • Collaborate with project team members including surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure survey data is accurate and aligned with project requirements.
  • Maintain survey equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior project team members as needed.
  • Maintain company standards for the preparation of surveys and mapping documents.

Essential Job functions:

  • Utilize GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and other equipment to accurately measure and record land data.
  • Operate survey software and computer-aided drafting (CAD) programs to process and analyze survey data.
  • Assist in the preparation of topographic maps, boundary surveys, and construction taking plans.
  • Conduct research and gather information from various sources to support surveying activities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of land surveying experience.
  • Proficiency with surveying equipment and software.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to work within a team-driven environment.
