Transportation Engineer

Senior Roadway Engineer

Were seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead roadway design projects and mentor a dynamic team of engineers, technicians, and interns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple roadway design projects from development through construction
• Ensure compliance with ALDOT and FHWA design standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Supervise and mentor junior staff across disciplines and locations
• Lead project delivery, contract preparation, bidding, and construction oversight
• Coordinate technical accuracy and enforce QA/QC measures
• Represent the firm in meetings, presentations, and community engagements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• PE registration in Alabama (required)
• 10+ years of experience in roadway design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MicroStation/OpenRoads
