Concrete Superintendent - Heavy Civil / Sidewalks / Curbs

Based in Seymour, IN | Projects across Central & Southern Indiana

Permanent Position | Salary: $75,000-$95,000

A well-established, family-owned construction firm in Seymour, IN is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on a variety of heavy civil concrete projects, including sidewalks, curbs, and walking paths. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for supervising crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and

maintaining safety and productivity on job sites throughout central and southern Indiana.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a concrete crew (3+ workers)
• Interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications
• Oversee layout, forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Track labor, materials, and equipment usage
• Mentor and train crew members to enhance skills and efficiency
• Enforce compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in concrete construction
• 3+ years of experience running work as a foreman or higher
• Proven ability to lead crews of 3 or more workers
• Strong knowledge of forming systems, concrete placement, and finishing
• Experience with curbs, sidewalks, and walking paths
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Familiarity with INDOT standards and municipal specifications
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
