- Coordinate work with various crafts and subcontractors.
- Assume responsibility for project productivity and contractual performance.
- Maintain continual open communication with design team, Project Manager, client, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Provide estimating assistance and identify design inefficiencies.
- Resolve issues with plans before they result in added budget expenditures.
- Maintain awareness of safety rules and procedures, identify safety hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in construction management and project management.
- Experience leading projects independently, especially ground-up projects valued at $15-20 million.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement construction documents.
- Proficient in calculating concrete, stone, and lumber quantities.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, P6 Scheduling, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record.
- Experience in leading commercial construction projects valued at $10M or greater.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making/problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive client focus and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent supervisory skills with ability to directly supervise employees and subcontractors.
- Ability to travel within a 100-mile radius of Nashville.
