- Develop, analyze, and maintain software models of electrical distribution systems using the company's proprietary model development environment.
- Support projects specifically involving electrical modeling software, working closely with other electrical and software engineers.
- Apply knowledge of embedded systems to support the integration of hardware and low-level software into simulation platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and validate simulation models aligned with customer requirements.
- Conduct short-term on-site missions for meetings, data collection, or customer acceptance.
- Document technical specifications and procedures in accordance with engineering best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with electrical theory and embedded systems development.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to embedded systems.
- Experience with embedded software or firmware integration in real-time systems.
- Proficiency with Windows-based development tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsverbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience in electrical simulation software is highly desirable.
The position is fully onsite with potential for hybrid work after one year of employment. Most of the team works onsite, and there is a preference for maintaining this environment.
