Plant Engineering Industrial Designer

The Plant Engineering Interior Designer will research and provide plans and recommendations for the interior design of new and remodel construction projects. In addition the Plant Engineering Interior Designer is responsible for assisting in all new construction projects, building additions, renovations and remodel of the Company's facilities from plan development to project completion.

What Will You Do?

You will research and provide plans and recommendations for the interior design of new and remodel construction projects. In addition, the Plant Engineering Interior Designer is responsible for assisting in all new construction projects, building additions, renovations and remodel of the Company's facilities from plan development to project completion.

Travel Requirements:

0-20% travel to various locations within the US

What Qualifications Do You Need?

3 years' experience in interior design, construction and/or manufacturing environment with experience in architecture, facility engineering or facility maintenance, Required

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit Architectural, Photoshop, SketchUp or other similar software

Broad technical view and understanding of facility design including support systems such as HVAC, lighting, electrical, compressed air, humidification, fire suppression, dust collection, etc

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills as you work with stakeholders

Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints

Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement

Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints

Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internet

Bachelor Degree in Interior Design, Construction Management or related Engineering field or equivalent work experience
