Adecco is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II for its client in Lyman, NE!
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime: Possible on Fridays
Location: Lyman, NE
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and hydraulic tools. Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and malfunctions.
Overhaul machines andponents, including inspection, machining, and part replacement.
Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect parts and verify specifications.
Adjust and calibrate mechanicalponents and control instruments.
Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance as outlined in technical diagrams and manuals.
Provide support and maintenance information to other departments.
May assist in repairing electrical equipment as needed.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of related experience
Electrical certification
Physical Requirements:
Heavy-duty work: lift 50-100 lbs occasionally, 25-50 lbs frequently, 10-20 lbs constantly
Frequent reaching, handling, and fine motor use
Ability to see at close range, judge distances, and distinguish colors
Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and use of touch to perceive object attributes
Must be able to hear and speak clearly in a production environment
