Responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Fabricator

Sheet Metal Fabricator Operates press brakes, rollers, and other machinery to form and bend metal parts

Assemble fabricated parts using fasteners, clamps, and other methods

Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using shears, saws, plasma cutters, and CNC machines

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols

Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Collaborate with our client's team to ensure quality and efficiency

Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness

Requirements of the Sheet Metal Fabricator

Experience in sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, forming, and assembling metal parts

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Technical training or certification in welding and metal fabrication preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Adherence to safety standards and protocols

Salary: $17 BOE
