Welder Fabricator Lead

As the **Lead Welder / Fabricator**, you will be responsible for overseeing welding and fabrication operations, leading a small team of welders/millwrights, and ensuring all projects meet technical specifications and quality standards. Youll play a key role in training, planning, and hands-on fabrication for custom and production builds.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate day-to-day welding and fabrication operations

- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to plan projects

- Fabricate and weld components using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes

- Inspect completed welds and structures for quality and conformance

- Mentor junior welders and assist in training team members

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

- Ensure all work adheres to safety and regulatory standards

- Communicate effectively with owner and clients

### Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in welding and metal fabrication

- Proven leadership experience in a shop or field environment

- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

- Strong knowledge of metals, materials, and fabrication tools

- Familiarity with welding codes and safety regulations

- Excellent communication and organizational skill
