Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operators for multiple position. We are looking for candidates that can operate one of the following, Scrapers, Dozers, Tractors and Blade operators. This role involves precise shaping and leveling of the earth to achieve the final grade, scarifying, breaking up and loosening dirt, and dressing slopes, shoulders, and embankments. The ideal candidate will have experience operating on both rocky and standard earth terrain. Responsibilities Operate Motor Grader with Total Station GPS System. Perform precise earth shaping and leveling to final grade. Scarify, break up, and loosen dirt, mix materials, and dress slopes. Work on rocky terrain and standard earth terrain. Read and interpret blueprints. Operate equipment on mass grading sites for commercial projects ranging from 200k to 20 million yards of dirt. Maintain professional appearance and behavior as per site code of conduct. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience operating a Motor Grader. Proficiency in commercial and civil construction grading and earthwork. Experience with models such as CAT 140M, CAT 150M, and CAT 160M. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Competence in using GPS systems and Total Station. Additional Skills & Qualifications Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles.
