Description:

We are looking for team-oriented, highly motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills to join our healthcare team.

This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare building systems, and delivery methods. Ability to work in a team environment with consultants and maintain client communications and expectations. Architectural registration required, LEED, WELL, or EDAC accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assist in programming, design, and contract administration activities for healthcare projects

Assist in preparation of specifications and drawings for schematic design, design development, and contract documents for major healthcare projects

Communication/coordination with the other team members

Assist with or have direct responsibility for design, translating client requirements to design criteria from conceptual design through installation

Review contract documents for compliance with applicable codes, policies, and regulations

Coordinate contractors, consultants

Be responsible for the complete integration of design and technical aspects of the project

Skill Set:

Professional Architectural or Interior Design degree and License, Texas preferred

Healthcare experience

LEED, WELL, and/or EDAC accreditation a plus

Knowledge of healthcare project design process, construction documentation and administration

In depth knowledge of healthcare codes and regulations

Strong understanding of evidence-based design

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational abilities

Collaborative and professional

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to direct other staff

Client management expertise

Revit and AutoCAD fluency required

Teams/Bluebeam familiarity, experienced with collaboration tools

Familiarity with InDesign, Word, Excel, SketchUp

Ability to hand draw, or sketch, design ideas is a plus
