Project Engineer Mechanical Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer witha strong background in mechanical automation and project management. JobDuties include but are not limited to: Designing mechanical materialhandling systems, tooling and components. Experience with: Machinebases, pneumatics, sensors, actuators, bearings, pumps, water-systemsProven ability to lead a team of Engineers on various projects Knowledgeof production techniques including Machining, Fabricating, Welding,Assembly, 3D printing Ability to generate and update technical drawingsusing standard design conventions, tolerance, and technical drawingstandards as required. Collaborate with Radyne Engineering andManufacturing personnel. Strong independent judgment required. Writespecifications for sales quotations, Verify inspection/runoffrequirements. manage time to meet budget requirement. Detail and checkpart drawings and create/maintain BOM\'s. Assist in the assembly andtroubleshooting of systems if needed. Work under the guidance of theMechanical Design Engineering Manager. Job Requirements: BS inEngineering - emphasis on mechanical. Proficiency in Solidworks orequivalent 3D modeling. Knowledge of production techniques includingMachining, Fabricating, Welding, Assembly a plus. Knowledge of screws,threads, materials, strength of materials, correct fit, and a wideknowledge of various fabrication techniques. Must have good technicalwriting and oral communication skills. Robotics Experience a plus.Experience with Adept PDM and AutoCAD a plus.
