The Buildable Group is seeking a qualified individual to join our team and support our hospitality facilities management and remodel program. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the assigned clients' projects while monitoring budget and schedule, coordinating vendors, and communicating with all stake holders. The project manager's role has the overall leadership and authority to drive the assigned projects from scope to customer acceptance. Additionally, this role will support business development by communicating the Buildable Group's skills and services to our existing internal market and identifying additional external revenue opportunities. Our core businesses, Buildable Group and Facility Command, provide services to over 3,000 restaurants every year. With over 150 unique clients, including Krispy Kreme, Buffalo Wild Wings, Taco Bell, McDonald's, and Dutch Bros Coffee, we have touched 15,000 unique storefronts and have managed over $100,000,000 of new restaurant development or remodels. What you'll be doing: Project Management Perform client specific scope visits or review of proposed scope for applicability, need and urgency. Work within clients' brand standards to determine wants versus needs. Provide budget consolidation and feedback to client for spend approval and commitment Perform site visits as required for scoping pre-construction, status, punch walk, and punch acceptance. Act as the champion of project communications by ensuring that the proper project team members are aware of what is occurring. Complete close-out documentation and processes as the client requires. Occasionally lead other company initiatives and developments when required. Other duties as assigned. Communication Be the buffer between the operations team and project team to ensure awareness of the project. Routinely update project team members with project status updates. Filter communication to the appropriate internal, external or vendor partner. Quality Control Ensure that all work is completed quickly and falls within reasonably accepted industry standards. Proffer ideas and solutions to ensure that changes do not have rolling consequences. Change Order Management Work within predetermined authority limits to approve change orders as required. Ensure change orders are of a practical and required nature. Work with project team to reduce or eliminate future change orders. Participating in External Processes Coordinate with clients' internal teams to ensure their processes are incorporated in the project. Utilize clients' preferred development, communications, and project management software. Your Qualifications: Hands-on knowledge of construction systems (general building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, etc.) is strongly preferred. Ability to read, understand and comprehend construction drawings and specifications. A bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience. An understanding of industry-related project management software (i.e. Procore, Lucernex, Microsoft Project, etc.) Ability to work independently or with internal company or external team members. Professional communication and presentation to internal and external parties. Familiarity using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management, preferably in a small business setting. Exceptional organization, problem-solving, multi-tasking and time management skills. The ability to inspire and get the most out of the project team with hands-on leadership.
