Our client, a leading golf products manufacturer, is seeking a Boiler Operator Apprentice to join their team. As a Boiler Operator Apprentice, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the weekend operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and reliability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Boiler Operator Apprentice - Weekend Coverage

Location: New Bedford, MA

Pay Range: $30.30 - $42.78 per hour

What's the Job?

Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, compressors, and cooling towers

Rebuild or replace pumps, valves, and piping systems

Perform system chemical treatments and maintain maintenance logs in CMMS

Assist with data collection and support other team members

Track and manage parts inventory and reordering

What's Needed?

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boiler Operator

Massachusetts 2nd Class Fireman License (required)

Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping

Ability to read schematics and blueprints

Basic computer and math skills; forklift/pallet jack/man-lift license preferred
