We're looking for aContract Specialistwho's ready to take ownership of carrier sourcing and booking for our valued shippers. What You'll Do Own the carrier process: Source, negotiate, and book carriers for assigned freight using target rates. Build strong partnerships: Develop and maintain carrier relationships to ensure consistent, reliable bookings. Drive freight sales: Proactively sell available freight to spot and dedicated carriers via calls, emails, and more. Keep things moving: Coordinate with dispatch, schedule pickups, and provide real-time updates to ensure on-time delivery. Grow our network: Onboard new carriers and ensure compliance with company standards. Support pricing strategies: Assist with spot quotes, mini projects, and RFPs to help win new business. Stay organized: Maintain carrier agreements and accessorial schedules, and track performance metrics. What You Bring 2-3 years of experience in a logistics or transportation environment. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Familiarity with RFPs and freight pricing. Bonus: Experience in procurement or carrier onboarding.
