JOB REQUIREMENTS: View all jobs2nd Shift MIG Welder/FabricatorMilwaukee,WI \* Manufacturing Global Power Components is a privately held, growingmanufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, largegenerator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housingfully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We areseeking 2nd Shift MIG Welders (Mon-Thursday, 4PM- 2:30AM) who arededicated, detail orientated and who wants a stable consistent hourswhere OT is always available but not mandatory. We have no shortage ofwork at Global Power Components! Responsibilities: (what you will bedoing) Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overheadpositions. The sheet metal thickness will range from 10 gauge up toinch. Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtainrequired configurations and positions for welding Position and secureworkpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or handtools Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions Requirements:(what it takes to be successful) Must be able to read measuring devices,such as tape measure Must be able to read blueprints - this is extremelyimportant GMAW (MIG/MAG) experience preferred Able to troubleshoot andproblem solve Must be highly motivated Able to communicate and work wellwith others Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeedMust pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drugscreen What\'s great about this job/Global Power Components: Expanding,privately held organization Outstanding job security, 40+ hours a week,52 weeks a year - in an organization that has been growing for years -and continues to do so.
