Refrigeration Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food manufacturing lines by performing preventive maintenance and necessary repairs. With a strong emphasis on HVAC and Refrigeration equipment Responsibilities Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime. Utilize hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers to fix and adjust equipment. Essential Skills 3-4 years of maintenance experience in a production environment. Proficiency in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance. Experience working with gearboxes and production equipment. Experience with Chillers and Boilers Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-4+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Work schedules include a start time of 5 AM or 6 AM for the 1st shift and 2 PM or 3 PM for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work (2-3 times per month). The company has been family-owned for over 70 years, providing a stable and supportive work environment. Steel-toed boots are required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $81120.00/yr. Team of 12 on maintenance, plant has over 100 production workers, steel toes, 5a or 6a start time for 1st shift depending on the day, 2p or 3p start time for 2nd shift depending on the day, Monday-Friday and working a lot of Saturdays (2-3 per month right now).
