Regional Journeyman Electrician Job Description The Field Service & Commissioning Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of services and activities on-site to support the Aftermarket & Service Department. This position will undertake on-site commissioning and maintenance activities, troubleshooting, training, and site supervision while developing excellent relationships with end users and always exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities Work on packaged equipment systems within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, involving extensive travel. Individually undertake on-site commissioning of equipment, general maintenance, troubleshooting, fault finding analysis, installation supervision, plant surveys and inspections, and draft and deliver training to end user personnel. Prepare RAMS, site visit reports, and maintain timesheets for submission to clients. Install and start-up industrial control systems. Participate in a rotational 'On Call' service (after hours & weekends). Use the Service & Commissioning activity as a platform to identify potential opportunities for additional aftermarket spares and site service support. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial machinery. Ability to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams and mechanical drawings. Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and Servo motion controllers. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and program AC VFDs and DC motor controls. Pass a drug test (including hair follicle). Additional Skills & Qualifications Able to work confidently alone as well as part of a team. Prepared to travel 25-50% per year. Journeyman license in electrical systems. Compliance with specifications and drawings. Plan and layout new or renovation projects with minimal waste. Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment. Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
