Location: The Senior Construction Project Manager for Turnkey Projects is a field based position located in the US with preferred location in metro Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX that requires frequent travel, up to 50% of the time, and occasional travel of up to 75%. During the engineering and procurement phases, the role is primarily office-based, with travel to meet internal teams, suppliers, and vendors. During the construction phase, the position is predominantly site-based, requiring regular presence at the construction site. Your Role: The DS&S Global Turnkey team has more than three decades of experience delivering large scale ($50 to $300M) EPC projects to clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. The Senior EPC Project Manager will be responsible for leading and executing complex Turnkey projects focused on engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for bulk specialty gases and chemical delivery systems for semiconductor manufacturing clients in North America. The role demands strong technical acumen, expert project management skills, and leadership in an environment where high-quality, efficient delivery is critical. The successful candidate will oversee multiple project teamsincluding project managers, engineers, sales personnel, document control engineer, and project administrator to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget targets while adhering to rigorous quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for multiple high-value EPC projects from inception through completion. Lead cross-functional teams by mentoring and coordinating project managers, engineers, sales personnel, and support staff. Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation efforts to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Drive project development from concept to execution, including early-stage planning, feasibility analysis, and continuous process improvement. Responsible for the preparation of technical proposals, project control budgets, and schedules with a focus on delivering consistent, competitive engineering solutions and execution strategies to secure project awards in EPC bidding processes. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring that terms support project success while managing risk. Interface with semiconductor clients and internal stakeholders to define project scopes, validate technical requirements, and provide strategic updates. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering, quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout project lifecycles. Proactively identify project risks and implement corrective actions; maintain effective communication channels and reporting structures. Champion continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging best practices and advanced project management methodologies. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree or an MBA is a plus. 10+ years of progressive experience in EPC project management, preferably within the semiconductor, gas / chemical, refinery, pharmaceutical, or food sectors. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates respect for individuals and fosters an inclusive work environment that values diversity. Experience with end-to-end delivery of at least three projects worth more than $100M. Extensive experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones to achieve project goals and ensure seamless communication. Demonstrable expertise in project development, from initial planning through execution. Experience in contract negotiation with clients and subcontractors is essential. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred. Proven track record of managing complex, multimillion-dollar projects with end-to-end EPC delivery. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and technology related to semiconductor process support. Pay Range for this position: $173,800 - $221,300 Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
