Job Title: Principal Structural Engineer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Structural Analyst to contribute to the development and validation of advanced spacecraft and mission-critical systems. This position plays a pivotal role in verifying that our hardware meets demanding structural and environmental criteria through comprehensive analysis and testing.

Primary Duties:

Conduct structural evaluations for a variety of aerospace hardware including spacecraft, payloads, optical assemblies, mechanical systems, and support equipment.

Utilize both analytical methods and finite element tools (e.g., Nastran) to perform static, modal, buckling, and frequency response assessments.

Define structural loads and environmental parameters for subsystems and components.

Participate in and interpret results from structural and environmental qualification tests such as acoustic, shock, vibration, static, and modal testing.

Prepare and deliver thorough technical documentation and analysis reports.

Collaborate within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a reliable and efficient work schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.

At least six years of Structural Engineering experience in spacecraft, mission, ground, or payload systems.
