Civil Construction Estimator

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to determine competitive pricing strategies. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for the company. Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Prepare detailed reports on estimates, budgets, and project progress for management review. Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines as part of the overall project management process. Skills Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies. Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Excellent analytical skills to assess costs accurately and provide insightful recommendations. Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
