Pay Rate: $30.93/hr. (depending on experience)

PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Facilities management team the Carpenter is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the facilities through new construction projects and repair of existing fixtures. Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor, the Carpenter maintains a proactive and innovative approach to repairs and develops creative solutions to benefit the enterprise and present high-quality workmanship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Frame walls, partitions, ceilings, and flooring
Repair damaged walls, fixtures, etc.
Hang sheetrock
Remodel existing structures
Estimate materials required for projects
Painting, sealing, and finishing surfaces
Maintain carpentry tools
General maintenance tasks as needed
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
Two (2) years' Carpenter experience
Two (2) years' training or apprenticeship in carpentry or cabinet-making
Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.
Skills and Abilities:
Proven knowledge of safe operation of all tools relating to carpentry, including but not limited to: skill saws, table saws, drill, sanders, routers, pneumatic nail gun, hand tools etc.
Proficient knowledge of various materials, wood, melamine, acrylics, laminates, MDFs, etc. to identify supplies needed.
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
Must understand the SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and be able to give safety instructions to team members.

You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
