MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator for a client located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. Our client is a well-known Food industry and organization seeking bright, tech-savvy talent.

Job Title: Services - Forklift Operator

Schedule/Hours: 2nd Shift 11 AM to 7:30 PM - Sunday to Thursday

Contract type: 3+Months (temp-to-perm position)

Essential Responsibilities:

Transport merchandise from the receiving dock or reserve slots to the proper location in the warehouse. Maintain accurate records of quantities, pack size, and description. Stack cases and rotate merchandise. Slot material in designated storage areas. Pull material to deliver to production lines. Move finished product from production to the designated storage area. Pull finished product from storage and load on trailers. Unload material from trailers. Utilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select the product. At least one year of experience on a stand-up forklift or reach truck. Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift. Must be able to lift objects weighing 20-80 lbs.., occasionally lifting objects more than 90 lbs. Twisting, bending, carrying, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Drive, motivation, and passion for providing excellent customer service. Ability to work in a variety of temperatures. Possesses strong problem-solving skills and excellent time management skills. Must be able to use independent discretion/judgment. Ability to work in a team environment.

About the project and day-to-day responsibilities for the contractor

Mid shift forklift operator. Required to continually operate the Crown high lift in a safe, quality, and efficient manner, following all the guidelines.

What are three MUST-HAVE skill sets (technical) that are required?

Previous stand-up, high lift operation experience.

History of safe operation of equipment.

Ability to meet all expectations of job description of a lift operator in a grocery facility with varying temperatures.

What are your top three PREFERRED skill sets (technical)?

Prior grocery warehouse experience.

Good attendance/punctuality.

Ability to work without the abundance of oversight.

Soft Skill requirements (team fit/personality requirements)?

Ability to communicate effectively as well as receive feedback on necessary corrective actions.

What are the education and certification requirements (if requirements)?

High School or GED equivalent
