Construction - General Laborer

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Construction - General Laborer position for a company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! Key Responsibilities: Assist welders with daily tasks on job sites Measure and cut materials accurately Operate tools such as grinders and cut-off wheels Use tape measures and perform basic math for measurements Handle and transport materials and tools safely Lift, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday in outdoor environments Follow safety procedures and directions from supervisors Work at various job locations (transportation with crew available; drive time not paid) Requirements: Previous experience as a welder helper or familiarity with welding tools Knowledge of basic hand and power tools Ability to take accurate measurements and perform simple math Dependable and able to show up on time and ready to work Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including heat and varying conditions Physically capable of lifting and moving materials as needed Must be able to follow directions and work well on a team Preferred Qualifications: Entry-level welding experience or interest in developing welding skills Familiarity with job site safety practices Willingness to learn and grow with the crew Apply now!
