Aircraft Structures Mechanic III Position Summary

The Aircraft Structures Mechanic III role is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates of Technical or A&P schools, as well as mechanics with fewer than five years of heavy aircraft experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision.

Proficiently use FAA-approved data, such as IPC, M/M, OHM, and SRM.

Ensure work adheres to high-quality standards.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.

May or may not have an A and/or P license, FCC license, or repairman's certificate.

Some sheet metal experience (including relative experience outside of Aviation).

Must possess and be able to skillfully use the minimum tools required.

6 months Helper experience with successful completion of 40-hour Sheetmetal class.

Candidates without experience in Aviation Sheetmetal must successfully complete 120 hours of General Aviation Training (OJT).

Must possess the ability to learn.
