Summary: Seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for planning and design projects at power plants, focusing on concrete and steel structures.
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
3-5 years relevant experience
Knowledge of civil/structural engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistical analysis
Strong technical writing skills
Experience with Finite Element Analysis software or techniques
Proficiency in engineering-based programs like Mathcad or Matlab
Authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial nuclear projects
Responsibilities:
Design and analysis of concrete and steel structures
Develop plans, construction drawings, specifications, and design computations
Create 3-D analytical models using FEA techniques
Coordinate multi-discipline project designs with utilities and municipalities
Resolve design issues including site support for field investigations and installation support
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
