Summary: Seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for planning and design projects at power plants, focusing on concrete and steel structures.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Knowledge of civil/structural engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistical analysis

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis software or techniques

  • Proficiency in engineering-based programs like Mathcad or Matlab

  • Authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in commercial nuclear projects

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analysis of concrete and steel structures

  • Develop plans, construction drawings, specifications, and design computations

  • Create 3-D analytical models using FEA techniques

  • Coordinate multi-discipline project designs with utilities and municipalities

  • Resolve design issues including site support for field investigations and installation support



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
