Lead Architect

Location: Southeastern U.S. – based in a small city with big charm and quick access to a major metro area

Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $85,000–$110,000 (Licensed) | $70,000+ (Nearing licensure)

Software Must-Have: Revit (advanced skills required)

We’re a tight, ten-person architecture firm doing big things—designing high-quality veterinary hospitals , medical clinics , breweries , and other complex commercial spaces across the U.S. One of our key architects is transitioning out, and we’re looking for someone exceptional to step in as our new design leader .

This isn’t a “cog-in-the-wheel” role. You’ll be at the center of every project—taking concepts from idea to reality, collaborating with our savvy production team, and working directly with clients who trust our vision and expertise.

What You'll Work On:

• Veterinary and medical facilities —yes, hospitals for animals (and humans!)

• Commercial and specialty spaces —from breweries to boutique retail

• Challenging, non-cookie-cutter projects —we don’t touch residential

• High-level CDs —bringing detail and clarity to every design

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Architect or on track to be within 12 months

• Mastery of Revit —this is non-negotiable

• Experience leading complex, technical, non-residential projects

• A standout portfolio that shows both creativity and precision

• A strong communicator, collaborator, and design thinker
