An oil and gas client in Midland is looking for a Power Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for supporting general Facilities Engineering with Medium and Low voltage Electrical (I&E) project design, construction, commissioning, and startup activities in the companies' midcontinent operational areas. In general, the individual will support PM Engineers on new facility design and construction activities, including instrumentation, control, communications for well sites, and medium and Low voltage electrical system designs, project cost and schedule management, facility construction, Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, I&E system commissioning and troubleshooting, facility startup, and project turnover activities to Operations. Travel to various project locations will be required, however; most locations will be in the areas of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.

3-7+ years' experience as an Electrical Power Engineer

Experience with electrical Power Distribution systems/ ETAP modeling

Experience with low-medium voltage systems (1000V)

Experience with Company/ industry I&E standard codes, design practices, and engineering standards/specifications for onshore production facilities

Experience developing power electrical discipline deliverables

Ability to deliver I&E engineering construction work package Ensuring all vendor supplied equipment packages meet the applicable equipment, control, and electrical specifications

Ability to manage multiple project schedules, manage costs and provide timely material delivery in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to advise capital projects & operations

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
