SUMMARY OF JOB:

The position will assist in defining and managing the project plans for a variety of Technology based initiatives including new technologies & enhanced feature and functionality upgrades. Work closely with assigned Project Manager to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for projects. Responsibilities will include assisting in coordination with multiple organizations including both internal and external business partners to ensure all initiatives have clear designs, requirements, documentation, scheduling, and services.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participate in project and engineering design meetings
  • Assist in planning and managing team goals, project schedules and new information to keep workflow on track
  • Participate in communications with clients to assist in identifying and defining project requirements, scopes and objectives.
  • Assist in managing project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
  • Adhere to project budget by assisting in the monitoring of expenses
  • Support in managing and tracking the project schedule.
  • Coordinate across functional groups to ensure that milestones and deliverables are met.

Deliverables will include:

  • Required documents, including data, reporting and service level management requirements.
  • Weekly team meeting notes.
  • Weekly project status reports.
  • Project schedule baseline, updates and maintenance.
  • Assist in delivery of the product/service on schedule and budget.
  • Requirements trace ability through the project lifecycle.
  • Overall quality of the delivered product/service.
  • Assist in driving the delivery of new processes / policies as required by the initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or BA in technical or business-related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • General analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail even under pressure.
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet project initiatives.

The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver office products and supplies of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
