Job Description As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support Program Managers in creating project plans and schedules. You will be involved in overseeing building construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects, ensuring that proposals align with client needs and budget constraints. Your role will involve coordinating construction efforts across multiple projects. Responsibilities
- Assist Program Managers with project plans and schedules.
- Monitor building construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects from planning stages through to completion.
- Ensure project proposals meet client needs and are within cost constraints.
- Coordinate construction efforts on multiple projects.
- Oversee and inspect the work of contractors.
- Provide progress reports and manage contract correspondences.
- Handle submittals, requisitions, and change order processes.
- Proficient in project management and construction management.
- Experience in commercial construction and project engineering.
- Ability to handle RFIs and change orders.
- Expertise in project coordination.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Understanding of RFI tracking and contract document review.
- Knowledge of cost scheduling and change order preparation.
- Recent college graduate.
