Job Description:
The Contracts Analyst will monitor and make recommendations to improve existing agreements by managing contract redlines and negotiations of contract renewals. The Analyst is responsible for managing contract compliance and supplier relationships across the organization. The Analyst will keep track of costs and rebates, assist in vendor onboarding, mitigate price increases, and support stakeholders in the day-to-day activities surrounding supplier management. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in efforts to negotiate and author contract renewals, amendments, addendums, terminations, and rebates
- Maintains contract database, tracks key contract milestones, and provides reporting related to existing contracts
- Meets with suppliers regularly and partners with stakeholders to find new ways to create value in existing contracts
- Monitors and reports on compliance to pricing and service level agreements throughout the contract life-cycle
- Assists in supplier onboarding and minimizes risk and supply chain disruption during the implementation process
- Serves as a point of escalation for stakeholders and suppliers when contractual issues arise and/or performance declines
- Maintain vendor database, validate registration and accuracy of vendor profiles Oversee pricing updates and schedules changes for Operations, A&D, Construction and other key stakeholders
- Implements supplier agreements negotiated by the Sourcing team as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from 4-year College or University Required
- 1-3 years experience in contract management, procurement, and/or supply chain management
- Previous experience with a contract legal review process
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of contract terminology and contracting best practices
- Experience with eSourcing and/or Contracting platforms
