Job Description
Teledyne Relays (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC), is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF Matrix switching systems. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in the United States. We are a vertically orientated manufacturing and design company with major operations in Southern California.

Position Summary and Responsibilities
- Design, program and set-up of electronic test and manufacturing equipment.
- Develop test equipment to test electronic devices, coaxial switches and other RF devices.
- Generate Test Programs with LabView, python, or similar test and automation software.
- Generate validation test plans to ensure products meet specified requirements.
- Recommend changes in test methods/assembly process or equipment to Engineering.
- Conduct operator training on the proper use of equipment.
- Work independently and as part of teams on assignments to automate testing and support production.
- Must have ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice.
- Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills and share expertise with group while following Company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in failure analysis. Exhibit sound judgment and communicate clearly to Supervisor and co-workers when identifying/resolving problems, developing alternate solutions, asking questions for clarification/providing feedback.
- Be able to prioritize/plan work demonstrating time efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness to ensure quality products and processes.
- Analyzes and interprets test data. Able to summarize and present data clearly and concisely, using, graphs and charts as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic or Electrical engineering (Electronic preferred)
- Must have experience programming with LabView, NI-Teststand, Visual Basic-6, and earlier versions of VB.
- Experience with I2C, SPI, SCIPI Protocols while programming with Labview.
- Experience with SQL Language and Database connectivity automation utilizing Labveiw.
- Microcontrollers (MCU), Microchip ASM and C Language.
- Experience with and other test and automation software is a plus
- Experience with DOT NET Framework (Assembly and DDL).
- Knowledge of electronic circuit analysis, repair, and assembly - experience using a spectrum analyzer to test RF devices is a plus.
- Have working knowledge and experience with multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and electronic test software/equipment.
- Have basic computer experience, and knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Able to use schematics and blueprints to assemble test systems.
- Read and understand schematic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Basic algebra skills.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written/oral/diagram form instructions and be able to deal with problems with concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Will occasionally be in contact with moving mechanical equipment and will continuously be working near moving mechanical parts.
- Will occasionally stand/walk/talk/hear/stoop, bend, kneel or crouch/push or pull, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs., and will continuously sit/use hands to handle or feel/reaching with hands and arms.

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.
Salary Range:
$90,800.00-$121,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
