Structural Designer
Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Designer/Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly under the structural engineer to draft projects using Revit. As the first member of the team under the engineer, you will assist in setting standards, collaborate with the internal BIM team to establish and edit families, and lead future drafters as work demands. You will primarily focus on drafting under the direct supervision of the structural engineer, integrating structural elements into existing MEP client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Draft structural projects using Revit under the supervision of the structural engineer.
  • Assist in establishing standards and processes for the structural design team.
  • Collaborate with the internal BIM team to create and edit Revit families.
  • Lead and mentor future drafters as the team expands.
  • Integrate structural elements into existing MEP client projects.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design and drafting.
  • Experience in creating construction documents.
  • Understanding of structural engineering and architecture.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Background in structural drafting for wood frame, multi-family projects, hospitality, concrete, and steel.
Work Environment

The position is primarily based in the office from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work option available based on performance and necessity. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
