About the Role:As an HVAC Service Technician 2 at Jakes Heating& Cooling, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort andsafety of our clients by providing high-quality heating,ventilation, and air conditioning services. Your primaryresponsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVACsystems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Valid HVAC technician certification or relevant trade schooltraining. At least 2 years of experience in HVAC service andrepair.Preferred Qualifications: EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Experience with advanced HVAC systems, including smarttechnology integration. Customer service experience in a technicalfield.Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems,including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions andimplement effective solutions. Communicate with clients to explain service options, provideestimates, and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, andtime spent on each job. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and bestpractices to enhance service delivery.Skills:The required skillsfor this position include strong technical knowledge of HVACsystems, which will be utilized daily to diagnose and repairequipment efficiently.
