We are seeking a skilled and driven Electrical Engineer in Phoenix AZ to support the execution of transmission and distribution (T&D) systems on mining projects. These are small-scale but high-frequency projects that demand technical agility and close field coordination.This role is ideal for an engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in utility design for mining sites. Relocation available for qualified candidates!

responsibilities:
Design and oversee the execution of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) distribution systems for new and expanding mining sites.
Prepare and review electrical layouts, one-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.
Work closely with field construction teams to adapt designs to site-specific conditions and resolve real-time installation challenges.
Coordinate with utility providers and internal project managers to meet safety, reliability, and schedule requirements.
Support power system studies, grounding designs, and interconnection planning as needed.
Manage multiple active projects, ensuring high-quality engineering delivery across varying site conditions.
Enforce compliance with electrical codes (NEC, NESC) and safety standards relevant to mining and utility operations.
