Thisposition will be located out of our Central MO or Southern ILOffice Location with potential travel in both markets* Senior Project Managers are responsible for leading constructionefforts and working collaboratively with the other companydepartments to carry projects through carefully plannedpreconstruction efforts for an on-time delivery and that is withinbudget. Senior Project Managers are responsible for overseeing theFinancial, Schedule, Safety and Quality performance of theirassigned projects. They are required to maintain a thorough 'bigpicture' understanding of their projects, and to recognize and actupon priority tasks without supervision. In addition to their ownwork, they are required to effectively delegate tasks and superviseproject teams to include superintendents, foremen, project managersand engineers, QC managers, Safety officers, project controlsstaff, project clerks, procurement staff and designers. Thisposition serves in a companywide capacity; as such, could look tothis position for additional support for the New Work / PursuitsTeam to foster and develop client relationships, develop projectleads and opportunities, and ensuring a Client-Focused projectexperience is occurring on every project. Key Functions Project Team: Utilize the latest technology with theexpectations of finding efficiencies to improve communication,document control, and quality. Work with the onsite ClientRepresentatives to coordinate project details while ensuringsuperior quality in addition working collaboratively with theonsite construction superintendents, Project Managers, and theskilled trades. Relationships and Partnerships: Develop, foster, and administerstrategic relationship initiatives with Clients, Design Partners,Subcontracting Partners, and Vendors that align with the types ofprojects in RCC's key market pillars. Continued businesspartnerships and growth of projects with existing clients as SeniorPM priority. Participate as a coach and mentor to the entireProject Managers and Engineers team, in addition to leading theonsite team members. Field Project Focus: Resolve field construction problems incoordination with any other onsite agencies. Attend progressmeetings, develop status reports, and deliver presentations, asrequired to then make recommended policy and procedureimprovements. Work to resolve claims, suggest ways to mitigateimpacts, and develop workarounds while maintaining projectschedules, budgets, and quality expectations. Manage the changeprocess: Identify and communicate scope changes, prepare, andsubmit cost and schedule change estimates, negotiate and processclient change orders and issue subcontractor and vendor changeorders. All to be managed, lead, and maintained while meeting allRiver City Construction safety expectations and standards. 10+ years of experience desired 4-year degree preferred Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similarfield is ideal Strong organizational skills, good time management,professionalism, and ability to work well with others.
