VCBO Architecture (www.vcbo.com) is seeking an experienced Architect I to join the team in our Hawaii office. VCBO has a passion for excellence and a strong group of people who respect each other and enjoy working together.

General Objectives:

Full-time position with experience working on commercial projects, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards, codes, and building systems. Proficient in Autodesk Revit and other business software. Ability to coordinate Revit model and sub-consultants. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors of Architecture (5 year) or Masters of Architecture Degree required

1-5 years of experience as an intern architect

Autodesk Revit Architecture

AutoCAD Architecture

SketchUp

LEED AP (desired but not required)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be a motivated self-starter

Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development
